One study on heritage language maintenance examines the language planning and preservation efforts within a multilingual Igorot migrant family in Malaybalay, Mindanao, Philippines. Language planning plays a critical role in language preservation, with the integration of language ideologies and educational practices contributing to its continuity. In the field of health, the lived experiences of non-specialized nurse practitioners are explored, particularly in the context of breast cancer care. The increasing prevalence of breast cancer, alongside a shortage of oncology nurses, has placed greater responsibility on non-specialized nurse practitioners. The study found that these practitioners adapt to the demands of breast cancer care by overcoming initial limitations and gradually building competence and confidence, showcasing their resilience and adaptability. This comprehensive volume highlights the ongoing cultural, educational, and societal challenges in the Asia-Pacific region, underscoring a commitment to addressing these issues.
